CLK Pantry Essentials - Perfect for Mother & Father's Day!
Share
I have enjoyed sharing with and recommending to you what ingredients, essentials, and hidden secrets we stock in our own kitchen. Now with Mother's and Father's Day around the corner, I thought I would enjoy some more 'gifty' items we love in our kitchen in case you wish to purchase them for your parents or loved ones on any forthcoming occasion.
I've also added a few spicy and international pantry stables at the end.
GIFT LIST:
On Trend is the salad spinner. I use ours 3-4 times a week. I clean all our veggies and fruit in it and it makes it simple, easy and a joy. We've had ours for so long, I don't think they sell it any longer, so I've put three below to find the one that works best for you!
Farberware Easy to use pro Pump Spinner
OXO Good Grips Large Salad Spinner
Ozeri Italian Made Fresca Salad Spinner and Serving Bowl
I purchased these on a whim as I HATE it when the regular sponges start to smell. These don't smell and do the job perfectly without damaging any pots, plates or pans.
In fact, I took some to my parents who LOVED them so I'm now sharing them with everyone.
These tongs are essential both on the stove top and on the grill. I don't know how people cook without them. Enough said.
I must confess - I haven't made rice without a rice cooker in over 30 years. It's just something I grew up using and haven't looked back. It will change your life in so many ways and you can make much more than just rice in it!
Our Kitchen scale gets a workout not only in the kitchen, but for all our parcel shipping needs too! It's a tool that is used daily!
We do have a selection of food processors depending on the job.
My husband swears by our very old standard Cuisinart, especially when he makes the most delicious hummus! But it's heavy and sometimes larger than I need, so I'm grateful for our mini ones.
I love this mini food processors for grinding chipoltes in adobe, just dried chillies or a onion. It's super easy to use and clean (essential reasons in my book). I've put two below to find the one that is best for you.
I splurged on getting a Vitamix during the pandemic and haven't looked back. It's easy, simple to clean and so multi-purpose, I couldn't say anything bad about it! If you can, treat yourself or someone you love to this amazing machine!
We only purchase whole black pepper so you have to have a good pepper grinder that lasts!
One day I hope to have this on my table
FOOD:
This is the Coconut Milk that was recommended to purchase when I took some thai cooking classes and it's the only one of two I purchase now.
When traveling in Peru, we couldn't get enough of Ajis - and this Aji Amarillo is delicious and takes us back.
Inca's Food Aji Amarillo Paste
The Brand Conimex - I love their condiments
